Noel Receives Endorsement from Lt. Governor Herbert

STATEMENT FROM LT. GOVERNOR GARY HERBERT
"I count Rep. Mike Noel not only as one of my good friends, but also
as a tireless advocate for Southern Utah at the state capitol.
Without a doubt, Rep. Noel has one of the strongest and most reasoned
voices when it comes to multiple use of the public land in Utah. Rep.
Noel truly understands how important the appropriate use of public
lands are to Utah's economic well-being and overall quality of life.
Rep. Mike Noel serves Southern Utah with honor and distinction and I
am proud to support him for reelection to the House of
Representatives."

State of Utah
October 2008
I am greatful for the support of Lt. Governor Gary Herbert. I have worked with the Lt Govenor for the past 4 years as the State Legislative Reprentative for the Public Lands Coordination Council. My efforts to maintain access to public lands, protect traditional uses of public land for grazing, timber harvesting, mineral development and recreation have been fruitful in many ways these past six years. The state of Utah receives over $150 million dollars a year in mineral royalities from the public lands. The people of Utah have an absolute right to royalties on these private lands something that the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance and other radical environmental organizations are attempting to steal from our children and grandchildren. I would appreciate your vote on November 4th so that I can continue in my efforts to make the federal government pay their fair share of the tax burden on the 66% of land in Utah they control.
Sincerely,
Rep Mike Noel
